Department of Energy:

Puerto Rico Energy Resilience Fund

On January 9th, 2026, the Puerto Rico Energy Resilience Fund was terminated by the Department of Energy.

In 2024, Let’s Share the Sun was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to participate in the Puerto Rico Energy Resilience Fund (PR-ERF), a landmark initiative focused on strengthening Puerto Rico’s energy resilience and long-term energy security. Through this program, Let’s Share the Sun successfully installed and commissioned 111 of the initial 200 planned residential energy systems in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. We are currently raising additional funds to complete installations for the remaining 89 households.

Support the Remaining 89 Homes

Let’s Share the Sun is actively raising funds to complete the remaining 89 residential solar and battery installations in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. Each installation costs approximately $15,000 and provides medically vulnerable households with reliable backup power, lower energy costs, and greater resilience during grid outages and natural disasters.

Your contribution directly supports bringing clean, dependable energy to families who need it most. Every donation helps move another household closer to safe, reliable power and long-term energy security.
