Let’s Share the Sun is partnering with Soluz to provide solar energy options to rural Honduras in the Department of Yoro. Honduras has the lowest energy access of any Central American Country and rates are especially high in rural areas where 30% do not have access to electricity. By partnering with Soluz, Let’s Share the Sun will be able to reach the most remote areas of Yoro using a results-based funding approach. Our goal for phase 2 is to raise $12,500 to provide installations for 100 homes.

Both Let’s Share the Sun and Soluz are committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 7 “Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all”. With your help, we will be able to provide solutions to tackle this goal in some of the most difficult communities in the western hemisphere.
